Whether you’re a seasoned seamstress or have never picked up a needle and thread, a Mending Space Kit invites you into a practice of restorative stitching and gentle artistic exploration. Each kit is one-of-a-kind and contains enough elements to create many unique patchwork, mixed media, and art collage pieces!

Please note that the photos here are a close representation of the elements you will receive from the materials I currently have. Each kit will be just a smidge different and full of surprises!

I find each element in mostly local reclamation and antique shops. I even receive donations from local quilters, too. So you can be sure that every piece in your kit comes from trusted, small-scale sources and from a collective who care about making use of every scrap!

Kits include a variety of the following luscious items:

- a curated variety of vintage and upcycled textiles, including linen, cotton, sari fabrics, tea-stained quilt remnants; measurements vary

- vintage miniature locket

- upcycled bit of bling from deconstructed costume jewelry

- rusted antique keys for embellishment and eco-dyeing

- generous length of naturally stained sari ribbon

- a Mending Space card with inspiring poem

- two ‘you are loved’ cards . . . one to keep, one to give away
